Quick Response Planner (QRP)
Understand the hazard. Plan the response. Quick Response Planner is emergency response and consequence-modelling software for the chemical, petrochemical and process industry. It turns the first minutes of a hazardous release into prompt, correct initial decisions.
What QRP does
- Hazard modelling and contours: toxic dispersion, flammable area, fire and thermal radiation, explosion overpressure, with uncertainty bands.
- Upwind routing: a safe road approach to an upwind staging point, solved again when the wind changes.
- Secondary hazards: transformers, tanks, deluge valves and assembly points inside the footprint, each with its protective action.
- Curtain plan and firefighting strategy: portable monitors, water curtain, nearest safe hydrants and hose required.
- Mass notification: call, SMS and e-mail to nominated people by emergency level.
- Firefighter telemetry: man-down, toxic and flammable atmosphere alerts, GPS positions, vital signs and breathing-air warnings.
- Broadcast QRP anywhere: live site cameras, field audio and the mission report for authorised users.
- Level 3 evacuation preparedness: people in each zone, triage, hospital allocation and shelters.
Built for your site
Every QRP deployment is configured for the site it protects: your chemicals and inventories, plant layout and equipment, detectors and fire-water network, roads and assembly points, emergency levels and call tree.
